About the company

The dynamic development of Azerbaijan's economy is the basis of the growing interest in our Republic today. The creation of new associations and organizations is the need of the hour in the growing pace of development. As a result of this demand, the Association of Professional Financial Managers of Azerbaijan (APFM) was established in 2007 as a public organization. Since its establishment, it has actively participated in projects related to the transition to International Standards of Financial Reporting, has accumulated extensive experience, and is currently successfully continuing its activities as a leading professional institution in the country with international accreditations.

APFM is the official coordinator of the Eurasian Forum of Accountants and Auditors in Azerbaijan and has been the organizer of 7 forums since 2007.

The network of Educational Centers of the Association operates widely both in Baku and in the regions. Training centers accredited by APFM provide international long-term training courses, short-term trainings and consulting services on the application of international accounting in the field of finance, taxation, accounting, management.

The association has auditoriums equipped with technical equipment that meet international standards for conducting seminars and trainings at a high level.

The members of the association are highly qualified specialists, professional accountants. They work in the field of finance, accounting, management, raise the generation of new talented managers, form a special business culture, professional business language, the pleasant environment created by them expands the scope of professional communication and promotes business development.

APFM closely cooperates with relevant state institutions. Regular meetings are held with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Chamber of Auditors, the State Examination Center and the Training Center of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and mutually beneficial cooperation directions are determined between the parties, and consultations are held on the exchange of experience and changes to the legislation. Also, in accordance with the approved action plan within the framework of the Memorandum, joint conferences, forums, seminars and round tables are organized in Baku and the regions in order to increase the economic knowledge of specialists working in the field of finance and accounting.
