The Caspian air, rich in healing ions and oxygen, the bright southern sun, sandy beaches and, most importantly, the healing mineral water of the Chiraggala natural spring, create a foundation for the successful treatment of diseases of the urinary and reproductive system in the "Swallow" sanatorium.

Also, patients are treated with natural healing mud and mineral iodine-bromine water in the "Garangush" sanatorium; at the same time, the Galaalti mineral water gallery (Naftusiya type) also serves patients here.

Of course, besides Truskavets, there are therapeutic mineral water deposits containing oil-derived organic substances in other parts of the world. One of these places is the Galaalti resort of Azerbaijan. Thus, in 1969, a new healing water source was discovered in the foothills of the village of Galaalti, 20 km from Devachi (today's Shabran) region. In the forest, 7 sources of that water with a large reserve have been identified. The flow of water is more than 10,000 liters per minute. The poorly mineralized waters of Galaalti have organic substances in the amount of 15-25 mg/l. It primarily includes phenol-type ether-soluble organic compounds, carbohydrates, and volatile organic acids. In addition, Galaalti mineral water contains a small amount of carbonic acids, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine, sodium, potassium, iron and copper. The next characteristic feature of these waters is the presence of hydrocarbon acid, disulfite-forming and thione-type microorganisms (about 400 species) that affect organic substances in terms of quantity and quality.

Galaalti water is widely used in the treatment of urinary stone disease, which occurs in various forms. It is unique and original both in terms of its composition and physiological effect on the human body. Due to weak mineralization (up to 0.78 g/l) and abundance of organic substances (8.35-23.8 mg/l), the water here helps to remove small stones and sand from the kidney, gall bladder, as well as urinary and bile ducts and stimulates the weakening of the stone formation process. At the same time, it normalizes metabolism in the body, has an alkalizing effect on blood and urine, expels uric acids from the body, reduces the acidity of gastric juice, minimizes bleeding, reduces the permeability of cell membranes, has an anti-inflammatory effect, increases diuresis and expels excess fluid from the body.

The water from Galaalti springs has a general immunological effect, strengthens the body's defense mechanism, helps to eliminate inflammatory processes in organs and tissues, expels metabolic products and toxic substances from the body and, as a result, prevents early aging of the body.
