The Complex drilling works trust does exploration and production drilling at SOCAR's approximately 25 onshore and offshore fields. It applies new equipment and technologies in accordance with international standards, prevents environmental damage, provides completely safe working conditions that protect its employee's health, faithfully complies with industrial and administrative regulations, and fills customer orders on time and proficiently without financial violations. The Trust has drilled more than 457 wells during its activity since 2007 in Umid, Bulla-Deniz (the wells in these two fields were drilled with drill bits of high technological indicators (PDS, bicentric drill bits), “SWACO” cleaning devices, oil based solutions and used LWD/MWD/PWD telemeter measuring devices of “Schlumberger” in BHA), also Gunashli, Neft Dashlary, Alat offshore, Pirallahi, Bahar fields. The Complex drilling works trust which is the part of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic includes five drilling departments ("Khazar" Offshore Exploratory Drilling Department, the "Sahil" Drilling Department, the "Neft Dashlary" Offshore Drilling Department, the "Absheron" Drilling Department, and the "Gobustan" Exploratory Drilling Department) and four auxiliary departments i.e. the "Drilling Services and Logistics" Department (a full range of services, performs maintenance, rig building, and directional drilling), The Cementing Department (the cementing of drilled wells), the Logistics Department (supplying of the departments with materials and equipments), and the Specialized Machinery Department (the advanced transport service for timely transportation of the equipments, materials and staff to departments). The Complex drilling works trust closely cooperates with other local and foreign departments that have great potentials (Halliburton, Schlumberger, Beyker Hughes, Watherford, Smith Eastern Hemisphere, Mİ Swaco, Hidroserv, ATR Group, Warco) for the purposes of exploration and production drilling and in order to discover new fields to maintain steady oil and gas production in the country and fulfill the customers’ orders on time.
